The wildcat, which inhabit only in Tsushima of Nagasaki Prefecture, were appointed as national natural monuments and are also an endangered species. The zoo has been keeping the wildcats to support reproduction since 1996. This is the third delivery for the mother cat, who is considered to be four years old.
