The car ran a 3 km route carrying Japan&#8217;s Minister of State for Regional Revitalization, Satsuki Katayama, who attended a pre-event of G20 meetings in Fukuoka. It was the world&#8217;s first on-road demonstration of a car running a fuel made of microalgae euglena (<em>midorimushi<\/em>) on a public road.
