The committee decided that the minimum wage in the seven prefectures of Kyushu should be raised by \u00a526 an hour. Once this is accepted, the base wage per hour will be \u00a5840 in Fukuoka Prefecture, while that of six other prefectures will remain below \u00a5800 including the country&#8217;s lowest-minimum wage of \u00a5787 in Kagoshima Prefecture.
