The Rail Kitchen Chikugo, a kitchen-equipped train operated by Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co., Ltd., connects the Nishitetsu stations of Tenjin and Omuta. For nearly a year since its debut in March 2019, the train has offered three dining options, including lunch on the Tenjin-Omuta trip, dinner for the Omuta-Tenjin trip, and also a brunch service for Tenjin-Dazaifu run. The forty-minute brunch ride to Dazaifu includes cups of a premium blend coffee and a ‘yuzu<\/em> dog,’ a yuzukosho<\/em> spice-flavored hot dog supervised by the popular bakery Chez Sagara in the town of Tanoshimaru. The familiar-to-some scenery becomes something special when viewed from this fancy train.
