With the scheduled introduction of accommodation tax in April, the annual budget for Fukuoka Prefecture increased by \u00a565.9 billion from that of 2019. The budget includes costs for promoting international tourism, including a reduced rate for car rentals as well as special discounts for air tickets for direct flights from Europe, the US, and Australia are planned.
