The rocket is named Gaaboo after the project&#8217;s collaborator company, whose owner is native of Kitakyushu City. Also supported by the students at Kyushu Institute of Technology, the winged rocket reached an altitude of 1,032 m in 14 seconds after takeoff and flew at a maximum speed of 607 km\/h.
