During the session, the governor explained that in addition to the current 66 beds at the prefecture&#8217;s designated medical institutions for infectious diseases, 184 more beds at cooperating institutions will become available for COVID-19 care. The surge in the number of confirmed infections in the past week brings the cumulative total in the prefecture to 146 as of April 4.
