On May 24, four more confirmed cases of the new coronavirus infections were found in Fukuoka Prefecture. The other case involves a Fukuoka City resident in her fifties who was re-infected with the virus. The cumulative total for the prefecture has reached 666, while 26 deaths have been linked to the disease.
