Enjoy seven of Fukuoka City Museum\u2019s most prized possessions from the comfort of your home. The museum has collaborated with Steampunk Digital, a Fukuoka-based start-up specializing in the field of VR and mixed reality, to create a series of 3D images that can be viewed from any location. The project allows the public to see some of the museum\u2019s treasures, such as traditional Japanese armor and locally produced dolls, from almost any angle imaginable. You can even spin the items around and zoom in on some of the exhibits that you would not usually see. AR images are available to people who access the platform using a smartphone or tablet.
