Meanwhile, Aso College Group purchased 2.5 tons of rice and distributed it to approximately 550 exchange students at its thirteen special skill schools. According to the organization, 90% of those students currently have fewer or have lost all their part-time jobs. Additionally, a Kitakyushu-based <em>izakaya<\/em> Suisho gifted free rice and canned food to about 100 exchange students at the University of Kitakyushu, hoping to encourage similar initiatives in the region.
