A guide working for Yamap applied for Sapporo\u2019s \u2018Hoppin\u2019 Garage\u2019 project, which solicits ideas for new brands of beer. The concept of treating oneself to a beer after engaging in outdoor activities and other life events inspired the white ale brew with low alcohol (3%) and slightly-salty taste.
