On June 24, the city\u2019s assembly approved the tax exemption on research facilities, apartments and dormitories, hotels, and other related facilities completed on June 26, 2020, or later inside the \u2018Kyushu University collaboration district\u2019 (south-east to Ito Campus.) Eligible facilities enjoy full property-tax exemptions for the first three fiscal years, then 50% in the following two years.
