Itoshima City announced an outline for the development of its new city hall. The new building will be built on the site of the current Maruta Park (south-east to the current City Hall) in 2024. Five concepts for the new office include the development of a place that boosts social interactions amongst citizens. An indoor multi-use hall (1st floor) and an outdoor \u2018Itoshima Deck\u2019 will be suitable for various events. At the same time, a promenade on the west of the building will provide better accessibility between the town area and the Marutaike Park.
