Developed by a Tokyo-based project owner, Imagine One World, the \u2018Kimono Project\u2019 collaborated with <em>kimono<\/em> craftspeople in 18 prefectures across Japan. From Kyushu, artisan of Kurume <em>kasuri<\/em> and Hakata <em>ori<\/em> participated. While the games of Tokyo 2020 were rescheduled to 2021, the project celebrates the night on which Tokyo 2020 was initially scheduled to open with the release of the video. Also, the garments will be exhibited at a special exhibition in Kyoto in October.
