A group of researchers at Saga University named a newly found cecidomyiidae (insect) after Dr. Tetsu Nakamura. The \u2018Massalongia nakamuratetsui\u2019 is an insect measuring 2~3 mm in length, and was discovered in 2018. Being shocked by the news of Nakamura\u2019s death in Afghanistan, one of the group members came up with an idea to mark his legacy.
