As of noon September 6, Typhoon Haishen entered the area near the island of Amami Oshima at a speed of 25 km\/h to the north. The central air pressure measured 925 hectopascals. It is expected to enter southern Kyushu this evening (Sunday). The \u201cstorm center\u201d (\u66b4\u98a8\u57df the area of a typhoon in which average wind speeds exceeds 25 m\/s) is expected to reach Fukuoka Prefecture around midnight. Evacuation orders have been announced in the prefectures of Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Kagoshima, and Okinawa to 300,000 people as of 12:30 today (Sunday.) Also, level 4 evacuation warnings are active in some areas of Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima to over 2.6 million people.
