The ship, Nippon Maru, docked with some 200 passengers onboard. The vessel followed the Japan Oceangoing Passenger Ship Association and Nagasaki City guidelines and limited the number of passengers to 200, less than half of capacity. Disembarked passengers enjoyed visiting Huis Ten Bosch and other sightseeing spots.
