To ensure safety from the new coronavirus infections, the shrine will offer new year prayers and good luck items*until the end of March 2021. It will also operate a reduced number of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">yatai <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stalls and set up <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">goshuin<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> counters outside the shrine gate to avoid creating huge crowds. Each year, some two million visitors visit Dazaifu Tenmangu during Jan. 1 ~ 3.
