Fukuoka City is supporting two businesses related to Kyushu University\u2019s patented projects. The city announced the selection of <\/span>Koala Tech Inc.<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Kaico Ltd.<\/span><\/a> for its subsidy program to support startups\u2019 growth involving research-and-development works, with subsidies of \u00a52 million for each. Kaiko is currently working on developing a vaccine against the new coronavirus with silkworm protein.
