The robot, \u2018Servi\u2019 started its pre-operation at Nurubon Garden Shingu shop on Dec. 17. The machine carries food and drinks to guest tables like a waiter while self-detecting obstacles such as humans with a sensor. Softbank explains that a unit can save the labor costs equivalent to 1.5 persons.
