The Irahara Shizen Taiken Shisetsu (Irahara Natural Experience Facility) stands next to Irahara Dam, of which the construction involved the relocation of over-eighty houses. Developments of the new facilities reflected the minds of former residents to leave something valuable for children. A cottage with a stone oven recreates Rahcel\u2019s villa\u2019s atmosphere in Maine, and the waterside and forest areas reproduce the world of \u201cThe Sense of Wonder.\u201d A 90-m2 wooden lodge with a fireplace is also suitable for meetings and educational classes.
