About 3,500 devices using the Kyuden-developed \u2018Qottaby\u2019 app will be distributed to local elementary school students around the beginning of the new school year. It is the second such initiative in the prefecture, following that of Fukuoka City. The system tracks the locations of children to help local police during emergencies.
