They revealed that 20.5% of consumers brought their own during the survey period. This resulted in a savings of roughly 46.2 million plastic bags, or about 462 tons\u2019 worth. A conversion shows this would reduce the amount of CO2 released into the atmosphere by about 27.72 tons.
