The inexpensive bus service for the urban routes improved mobility for many within Fukuoka&#8217;s central areas since 1999, along with the 100 Yen Area Free Pass. However, the company decided to introduce a new fare system pegged at \u00a5150 from July 1 to recover from the new coronavirus-induced financial losses.
