Nishitetsu<\/span><\/a> announced changes in its train schedule for the period from May 12. Last trains will operate 30 ~ 60 min. earlier than usual, except for a few local trains. Local buses will operate as usual on weekdays, while special timetables will apply for Sat., Sun. and hol. operations from May 15.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Also, Fukuoka City\u2019s <\/span>public facilities<\/span><\/a>, including museums, libraries and the zoo will be closed during May 12 ~ 31, except for some events. Uminonakamichi paid parking lots will become unavailable between May 12 ~ 31.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Fukuoka Prefecture will close its public facilities, such as libraries and Kannmon Museum, except for some meetings and events organized by third parties. (The holding of a special exhibition scheduled on May 15 ~ at the Prefectural Art Museum is currently under discussion.) Other facilities will provide operational information via phone or online. The use of playground equipment at Ohori Park, Higashi Park, Nishi Park, Chuo Park (Kitakyushu City), and three more prefectural parks are prohibited until May 31.
