In collaboration with the Fukuoka-based Japan Seafoods Co., Ltd., the university invented the first-in-the-world system to kill the parasitic worms in raw seafood without freezing. Their device could process 3 kilograms of horse mackerel in around six minutes. Japan Seafoods plans to use the system and sell <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">sashimi <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">fish on a trial basis in the fall of 2021<\/span><b>.
