One of Japan’s largest biomass power plants is now in operation in Kanda Town, Fukuoka Prefecture. Funded by Renova Inc., Sumitomo Forestry Co., Ltd., and three more companies, the 75-megawatt plant would supply electricity to clients of Kyushu Electric Power (Kyuden.)
