Fukuoka Prefecture has decided to apply priority measures from the first half of next week. Governor Hattori told reporters on the morning of Jan. 21, &#8220;The usage rate of sickbeds in the latest figures has exceeded 15%. We are in line with both Saga and Oita prefectures to take priority measures such as preventing spread.&#8221; After that, he said, &#8220;I would like to ask the citizens of the prefecture and businesses to cooperate in order to stop the infection,&#8221; and called for cooperation in shortening the working hours starting from the 24th next week. The prefecture has decided on a supplementary budget that includes the necessary expenses to provide cooperation money to restaurants that respond to the request for shortened working hours.
