Fukuoka City boosts medical support for COVID-19 patients who are treated at home. To ensure the safety of the increasing number of home-treated patients amid the latest spike in the new coronavirus infections, medical fees will be covered as follows (*to be applied Jan. 27~):<\/span><\/p>\n

Telemedicine (phone \/ internet)<\/b>
\nPatients directly contact their <\/span>kakaritsuke<\/span><\/i> doctor (family doctor) or the medical institutions that diagnosed their COVID-19 infections.<\/span>
\nCosts to be covered: \u00a55,000 per telephone-based telemedicine or \u00a55,000 per internet-based telemedicine.<\/span><\/p>\n

House calls or visiting doctors\u2019 offices\u00a0<\/b>
\nPatients<\/span> contact the Health Center<\/b> to get their examinations arranged.\u00a0<\/span>
\nCosts to be covered: \u00a550,000 per house call or \u00a520,000 per in-hospital examinations.<\/span><\/p>\n
