The Kyushu organization of the Japan-China Friendship Association conducted the first survey to understand the experiences of zanryu-houjin\u2019s children and about the hardships they have faced. More than half of them came to Japan to take care of their aged parents who returned to Japan in the earlier years, while governmental support was limited.
