The 68,800 square meters site is located on the northeast side of the Chikugo Ogori Interchange on the Oita Expressway. Costco is said to be considering a 10,000-square-meter sales floor. The earliest opening date is sometime in 2024. Costco currently operates stores in Hisayama Town (Fukuoka) and Yahatanishi-ku, Kitakyushu City in Fukuoka Prefecture.
