Bally’s Corporation, an American entertainment company, announced at a press conference in Fukuoka on March 30 its desire to enter the integrated resort (IR) business with Fukuoka City as a candidate site. The company that operates casinos and racetracks in America announced its intention to locate in Fukuoka City as a candidate despite the fact Fukuoka City has not yet raised its hand and is not on the shortlist of candidate locations being considered by the national government.
