The new facility, &#8220;Animal Foundation Hospital Miyama,&#8221; was opened in Setakamachi, Miyama City, on April 14. The hospital is operated by the &#8220;Animal Fund,&#8221; a public interest incorporated foundation in Hyogo Prefecture that aims to eliminate the killing of dogs and cats. The clinic will be open for three days each month and treat approximately 4,000 cats a year.
