The influx appears to be due in part to the ongoing construction and renewal of office space as part of Fukuoka City&#8217;s &#8220;Tenjin Big Bang&#8221; redevelopment initiative. By region, the most significant inflow came from Tokyo, with 19 companies, or one-third of the total, mainly from IT (information technology) companies.
