North Tenjin, which opened on June 28, 2012, will close on August 28 for renovation work to integrate with the next-door Mina Tenjin and reopen next spring. The art project, which began on June 25, is based on the concept of “Thanks for all you have done and the future of Kita Tenjin” and will involve young people, children, and people with memories of the facility. Visitors can use the designated message stickers to write their messages, which will be selected and posted by staff after collection.
