At JR Nagasaki Station, uniformed police officers were on the scene to warn passengers, and passengers were seen asking JR staff at the ticket gates about the situation. JR Kyushu resumed operation after 4:00 p.m. after inspecting the Shinkansen cars and stations to ensure safety, but two trains on the upper and lower lines were suspended, affecting passengers.
