According to Fukuoka Prefecture and Kurume City, the company is VLP Therapeutics Japan, a Tokyo-based drug discovery venture. Using its proprietary technology, the company is working to develop vaccines to prevent new coronaviruses and malaria, as well as vaccines to treat cancer and other diseases.
