Governor Hattori of Fukuoka Prefecture and Mayor Takashima of Fukuoka City held a joint press conference to announce this. According to the press release, Fukuoka City will collaborate with the prefecture on &#8220;Riverfront NEXT,&#8221; a project to revitalize the parks and plazas around the Naka River, which flows through the center of the city.
