Tomiyasu, a native of Fukuoka Prefecture, is a 23 years old defender who plays for Arsenal in the English Premier League. He is a player with high all-around ability, utilizing his height of 1 meter 87 centimeters to compete in aerial battles and his strength in one-on-one matches, as well as his speed. He is also highly regarded for his solid defense in the English Premier League. Nagatomo is a defender for FC Tokyo of J1 and is 36 years old. This is the fourth consecutive time he has been selected for the World Cup. He is an experienced side-back who played for a long time for a strong European club.
