The demonstration will take place on a section of the JR Hita-Hikosan line, which has been affected by the 2017 floods and has since been reconstructed using the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system. The approximately 40-kilometer route between <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Soeda<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yoake<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and Hita will be named the BRT <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hikoboshi<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> line and is set to open in summer 2023. Buses will run on dedicated and public roads.
