JASM President <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yuichi Horita<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> urged new employees to approach their work with a sense of mission, as TSMC&#8217;s expansion into Kumamoto could serve as an opportunity for growth in Japan&#8217;s semiconductor industry. The new factory in Kumamoto is expected to employ around 1,700 people, including new graduates and mid-career hires, with a focus on local hiring.
