The Hakata Gion Yamakasa Festival is known for its dynamic &#8220;Kakiyama&#8221; and decorative &#8220;Kazariyama&#8221; floats and was held last year with restrictions on participants due to COVID-19 measures. On April 20, the general meeting of the Hakata Gion Yamakasa Promotion Association, the main organizing body, took place at Kushida Shrine in Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.
