The city of Fukuoka aims to attract tourists by enhancing the scenic landscape along the coast. Over the past three years, the city of Fukuoka has been working on a project to remove 17 utility poles along a 640-meter stretch of the coast in Nishi-ku, Fukuoka City, and bury the power lines underground along the &#8220;Futamigaura&#8221; coastal road, which extends from Fukuoka City to Itoshima City.
