Kagoshima plans to increase this number to 800,000 by 2026, beginning in the 2023 fiscal year, by creating new tourism products and targeting individual travelers from Asia. Named the &#8220;Inbound V-shaped Recovery Project,&#8221; these initiatives will utilize local landscapes and have been included in the city&#8217;s budget.
