This first-of-its-kind effort among local governments in Japan aims to make Fukuoka a global hub for the semiconductor industry. The center offers both online and in-person courses in semiconductor design, manufacturing, and practical skills such as automobile engine control. Tuition fees will be subsidized for employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in Fukuoka, making the courses effectively free.
