Six piglets were found dead at the farm, raising concerns confirmed by tests. Shunsuke Nakama, Deputy Director of the Fukuoka Prefectural Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Department, emphasized the need for &#8220;utmost vigilance&#8221; and laid out measures like stringent disinfection protocols and reinforced fences to keep out wild animals. Fukuoka is home to about 80,000 pigs across 42 farms, with no reports of abnormalities so far.
