This accounts for 1% of Japan&#8217;s total listed market cap. Manufacturing firms and regional banks dominate the list. Yaskawa Electric, specializing in industrial robots and based in Kitakyushu, leads with a market cap of 1.51 trillion yen. Fukuoka Financial Group is the third-largest, having grown through mergers since 2007.
