Originating from contaminated cooking oil by Kanemi Soko in Kitakyushu during the 1960s, this marks a continued effort to address Japan&#8217;s most significant food pollution incident. With the population of recognized patients aging, advocates push for expanded relief measures, including support for undiagnosed victims and children of affected individuals.
