At a ceremony on June 6, Mayor Morito Matsushima and representatives from the Fukuoka Veterinary <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Medical<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Association and the Japan Rescue Association signed the agreements. The veterinary association will dispatch veterinarians for pet care during disasters, while the Japan Rescue Association will deploy search and therapy dogs to aid in rescue operations and provide emotional support to affected residents.
