The total planned investment for the current fiscal year in Kyushu is approximately 896.8 billion yen, a 2.2% increase from the previous year. Investment in the manufacturing sector, led by TSMC&#8217;s entry into Kumamoto, is expected to rise by 3.6%. Non-manufacturing investments, driven by renewable energy projects, will see a modest increase of 0.8%.
